Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Zanzibar & Stone Town Tour

Welcome to Zanzibar! Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, our friendly guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Stone Town. After settling in and freshening up, embark on a fascinating guided tour of Stone Town, the cultural and historical soul of the island.

Wander through narrow alleys filled with antique shops, vibrant markets, Arab-style houses, and historic mosques. Highlights include the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Sultan’s Palace, and the former Slave Market Museum. This walking tour gives you insight into Zanzibar’s Swahili-Arab heritage and its role in the spice and slave trades.

Day 2

Spice Farm Tour & Prison Island Excursion

Start your morning with a delicious local breakfast before heading to a nearby Spice Plantation. Known globally as the "Spice Island," Zanzibar’s farms are rich with clove, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, lemongrass, and many other exotic spices. Walk through the farm as your guide explains the medicinal, culinary, and cosmetic uses of each plant.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride to Prison Island, once used to house rebellious slaves and later a quarantine station. Today, it’s home to giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. You’ll also have time to relax on the white-sand beach or snorkel in the clear turquoise waters before returning to your hotel in Stone Town.

Day 3

Jozani Forest & Dolphin Tour in Kizimkazi

Your day begins with an early transfer to Kizimkazi Village on the southern coast for a dolphin-watching excursion. Board a local boat and head into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean to spot and possibly swim alongside playful bottlenose and humpback dolphins—a truly magical experience.

Afterward, explore Jozani Forest, Zanzibar’s only national park. Accompanied by a forest guide, walk through the lush tropical jungle and observe the rare and endangered Red Colobus Monkeys, which are endemic to the island. The tour also includes a scenic stroll along the mangrove boardwalk, where you’ll learn about this unique coastal ecosystem.

Day 4

Mnemba Atoll Snorkeling

Today, travel to the northeast coast to embark on a snorkeling adventure at Mnemba Atoll, one of the best marine conservation areas in Zanzibar. Dive into the vibrant underwater world filled with coral gardens, tropical fish, sea turtles, and colorful reef formations.

After your aquatic excursion, head to the famous Nungwi Beach, known for its stunning white sand and crystal-clear water. Spend the afternoon relaxing, swimming, or exploring local beach bars and restaurants. You may also opt for a sunset dhow cruise, a traditional sailing experience that ends the day with breathtaking views.

Day 5

Safari Blue Tour & Departure

On your final day, enjoy the iconic Safari Blue Tour, an all-day excursion that takes you sailing on a traditional dhow boat through Zanzibar’s protected marine park in Menai Bay. Visit untouched sandbanks, swim in hidden lagoons, and snorkel in coral-rich waters.

A highlight of the day is the seafood BBQ lunch served on a remote island, featuring grilled fish, calamari, lobster (seasonal), and tropical fruits. After a relaxing afternoon on the water, you’ll return to shore, where your driver will be ready to transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward journey.
