Fly from Zanzibar to Mikumi – Evening Game Drive

Your journey begins with a smooth morning flight from Zanzibar. As you fly over the mainland, watch the landscape shift from coastal palms to the rugged Miombo woodlands. Upon landing at the Mikumi Airstrip, your Gnade Safaris guide will be waiting in a 4x4 land cruiser.

After a quick briefing, we dive into the wild. Mikumi is famous for its "Mkata Floodplain," where you can spot lions, giraffes, and elands. As the sun begins to set, the predators become more active. We will head to Camp Bastian Mikumi for a warm African welcome and a delicious dinner under the stars.

Morning Game Drive – Return Flight to Zanzibar

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush. After an early breakfast, we head back into the park for a morning game drive—the best time to see leopards and hyenas before the heat of the day. We will visit the hippo pools to watch these giants bask and socialize.

Following a gourmet picnic lunch in the heart of the park, we will drive you back to the airstrip for your afternoon flight. You’ll be back in Zanzibar in time to enjoy a sunset cocktail on the beach, carrying memories of the wild with you.
